1) Where It All Began
As a child, she would visit local cultural trade fairs in her hometown in Jharkhand with her mother.
Surrounded by colours, textiles and handmade crafts she didn't understand it back then.
But, something within her quietly connected to it.
2) Life Moved On
As she left her hometown for her studies, life became about careers, goals and the future.
That early connection with crafts slowly faded into the background.
But it never truly disappeared.
3) A Trip That Changed Everything
After graduation, while preparing for her CAT exams, she visited Jaipur with her mother — just like old times.
But this time, something felt different.
She wasn’t just observing anymore. She was searching.
4) The Reality She Didn’t Expect
While exploring the markets near Hawa Mahal, she started looking for authentic hand block printed fabrics.
But most of what she found wasn’t handmade.
It was screen printed.
That’s when she realized that the market was flooded with imitations.
5) The Search Led to Sanganer
To find authenticity, she had to go to Sanganer. There, she witnessed real hand block printing.
Crafted slowly, patiently, by skilled artisans.
It was everything she had been unknowingly looking for.
6) The Harsh Reality
But behind the beauty was a harsh truth. Artisans were leaving the craft.
The younger generation was moving towards corporate careers. Not because they didn’t value the art — but because the craft could no longer sustain them.
7) The Realisation
That moment changed everything.
She realized that if nothing is done now, this art will slowly disappear.
And that’s where the journey truly began.
8) One Year of Building
What followed was a year of dedication. From finding authentic block printed fabrics to working with the right manufacturers…
It was a journey of learning, unlearning, and building from scratch.
Every detail mattered.
9) The First Collection
After a year of effort, the first collection finally came to life.
Not just as clothing but as a story woven with purpose, heritage, and intention.
10) This Is Just the Beginning
From one craft to many. From one story to a larger movement.
